Spanning 7.6 hectares, vertically oriented solar panels will rise above rows of Leptospermum bushes, producing premium Manuka honey while generating up to 6.1 MWp of clean energy.
This dual-purpose system will showcase how agriculture and energy can thrive together, with potential for poultry and organic produce integration. With replication across 150 hectares, Byron Shire could be fully powered by renewables.
Investors will be invited to join a movement that blends sodium-ion storage, smart grids, and bi-directional EV charging into a scalable, community-first energy model.
